Core Communications’s client Destination Québec wins two top awards in annual Canada awards

Two features that Core Communications arranged for client Destination Québec (Québec Tourism in the UK) won top awards in their categories at the annual BACTAS – the British Annual Canada Travel Awards at  BAFTA, London W1.

 

Phoebe Smith, Editor of leading adventure travel magazine Wanderlust  won the Best Canada Media Coverage 2014 category for her feature ‘Discovering wild, wonderful Nunavik, Canada’ in Wanderlust October 2014 http://www.wanderlust.co.uk/magazine/articles/destinations/discovering-wild-nunavik-canada?page=all

 

Kerry Christiani won the Best Online Canada Coverage 2014 for her Lonely Planet Traveller blog: Wild Québec: Encountering nature in Canada’s backyard http://www.lonelyplanet.com/travel-tips-and-articles/wild-quebec-encountering-nature-in-canadas-backyard

 

Both were awarded a beautiful glass Polar Bear award by Nim Singh of the Canadian  Tourism Commission, chosen from hundreds of submissions from across Canada.
